The National Braille Carnival 2026 is a one-day community event organised by Persatuan Braille Malaysia to promote Braille literacy, raise awareness of visual impairment, and encourage a more inclusive society. The carnival will bring together individuals who are blind or visually impaired, their families, educators, volunteers, corporate partners, and members of the public. The programme will feature Braille-related activities, educational exhibitions, interactive workshops, games, competitions, and community engagement activities. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of Braille, experience assistive technology, and interact with the blind community in a fun and inclusive environment. The carnival aims to empower persons with visual impairments, increase public understanding of accessibility and inclusion, and strengthen community support for Braille literacy and equal opportunities.
